Snoop and Dre: Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang (1992)

One of the most recognizable songs of the 90s, and even dubbed as the Hip-Hop song of the Decade (XXL Magazine), “Nuthin But a ‘G’ Thang” definitely shook up the rap game when it hit the airwaves in 1992. Serving as the lead single from Dr. Dre’s debut album The Chronic, this classic definitely set the tone for one of the “dopest” duos in Hip-Hop.

Jay and Ye: Otis (2011)

Kanye, who was a producer before he took to the mic, is responsible for many of the tracks behind Jay-Z songs that we love. “Otis” might have been new to fans, but it wasn’t to them.

Drake and Rihanna: Take Care (2011)

“Take Care” served as both the title track from Drake’s sophomore album and the song that ignited musical magic between him and singer Rihanna. Taking influences from famed artist and activist Gil-Scott Heron, Take Care paired Rihanna’s sultry, Caribbean flows with Drake’s gentler R&B tones to prelude the relationship we all knew was bound to happen.
