Happy Fall LDOC All,
It’s officially that season, y’all. Stress levels are increasing, time is decreasing, the weather is getting colder. It’s time for finals, yay -__-
The good news is that Black Ink is back with a “mini” issue to get you through these final weeks of grinding before winter break blesses us all with a much-needed respite from “getting to these degrees.”
This month, you can xpect a highly anticipated interview from our newly crowned Mister and Miss UNC, tips to help you push through finals szn, as well as the start of a new series from our staff! As always, we hope you enjoy the content we’ve worked so hard to put out for you this month.
Additionally, in light of the recent developments regarding the decision to re-erect Silent Sam on UNC’s campus, please feel free to refer to the official statement given by the Black Student Movement at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Our hope here at Black Ink is that in spite of the gloominess of this time of year that each and every one of you is able to push through and finish strong.
Peace and Blessings,
Carla Beachem (’20), Editor-in-Chief
