With 7 seconds left, Gonzaga misses…seconds later UNC wins it all. It was a moment that us Tar Heels will cherish forever. It’s an amazing feeling winning the “Natty”, but what if you had to do it all over again with any 5 players in the entire country? Who would you choose for your team? I’ll always root for Carolina but these 5 players, together, could leave the nation shook and win it all…. Can you guess who they are? (Answers below)
- What I love most about this Gonzaga point guard is his free throws. With 87% of his free throws making it, opponents would be crushed when he gets fouled.
- As an ACC fan, you might not focus on the PAC-12, but you’ll notice this player. He and Arizona navigated their way to becoming the PAC-12 regular season and tournament champions. His shooting capability can give this team the field goals they need to succeed.
- I can’t make a dream team without my favorite player. As ACC player of the year, the small forward has stunned us all. With his 3-point percentage increasing by 10% this year and ability to assist his team, he’s just another great addition.
- The Wake Forest power forward can be considered under the radar because of WF’s lower ranking. But being underrated is the surprise to his opponents and as a high rebounder and shooter, he’s what this team needs.
- A big guy is essential to a team, and of course the big guy I’m choosing is a Tar Heel. As a center, his defense and rebounding ability is the final touch to this team. And it doesn’t hurt that he can shoot.
