Ok, so humor me for a moment and read this to the rhythm of “Twas the Night”
Twas the night before LDOC (last day of class) , when all through the campus,
Not a student was stirring, from the UL or study lounge;
The grades were in Blackboard showing the semester is through,
Leaving students to study so they could go home soon;
Tar Heels were nestled all snug on the UL, Union, Graham Memorial couches,
While visions of Dean’s List and As danced in their heads;
The 17th will bring much joy and cheer,
As students return home for the rest of the 2010 year!
So I know this is not the original “Twas the night” story but what can I say, it’s a little something to make you smile as you being long hours of studying, not sleeping (or eating correctly) for the next two weeks. To all our readers and students, work hard, study hard and finish STRONG! The semester is almost over to end it right and enjoy your winter break!
